Can I have multiple roles?
Yes. Most users start with one primary role. Once inside your dashboard you can request additional role permissions (e.g. a Parent who is also a Coach / Institution Admin) subject to the relevant verification checks.
How is my child's data protected?
Even Playground is built with a "privacy by design" architecture. Youth data is private by default and only visible to verified guardians and institution-linked officials. Fully compliant with POPIA for minor data.
How long does verification take?
Initial account setup is instant (~2 mins). Verification of institution or parent status typically takes 24–48 hours as our team cross-references documentation with national sport bodies.
Do I need a credit card to sign up?
No. Basic registration for athletes and parents is free. Institutions and media contributors operate on a different tier structure but do not require payment info for the initial signup.
What if my school isn't listed yet?
You can still register. Select "Request institution" during the next step and we will initiate the onboarding process for your school or academy.
